Goodtech has been a supplier to Offshore Wind since 2009 when the Hywind Demo concept was developed and has now most recently delivered the Employer SCADA system to Hywind Tampen. Hywind Tampen is the world's largest floating wind farm that supplies electricity to oil and gas installations in the North Sea. We have worked closely with Equinor to optimize power production by continuously adjusting the wind turbines in relation to current, waves and wind. The project also includes the integration of all important 3rd party systems into our Goodtech WindSCADA concept for visualization, monitoring and control. Goodtech has played an important role in connection with in-shore testing and commissioning of the wind turbines.
Goodtech is in position for the upcoming large offshore wind projects both on the Norwegian continental shelf and in the UK/Scotland/US where large expansions are planned. Our strategy is to be part of the supply chain both in the study phase, implementation and operation.
Experience from studies both on electrification and SCADA as well as the implementation of overall SCADA now most recently in the Hywind project makes us an attractive partner where our focus will be on profitable and sustainable solutions for our customers based on our expertise in electricity, high voltage, control systems, robotics and digitalisation.
