Goodtech has extensive experience of taking responsibility for modernising renewable energy sources such as hydroelectric and wind power. We can contribute in all phases and can offer complete solutions from preliminary studies to plants in operation. As well as equipping and adapting existing plants for new requirements and conditions, we are of course also involved in new construction.
For hydroelectric plants we have our own resources within installation, construction, programming, equipment maintenance and servicing. With our staff and our process familiarity, we can offer everything from project planning and investigations to complete solutions and large-scale projects.
Goodtech's engineers and designers have experience of all voltage levels, safety and control systems, and plant sections such as turbines, generators, switchgear, magnetising equipment and other primary components. We have produced our own concept for control and checking systems and have a reputation for success in modernising older stations with modern LAN and web technology. In addition to this, tried and tested procedures are used for the replacement and conversion of electrical equipment.
For wind power installations, both onshore and offshore, Goodtech offers complete, cost-effective and robust installations with a high level of operational availability. We work with the entire chain from the linking of wind power production to receiving stations/distribution stations and connection to the regional network.
For sea-based wind power we have developed, in cooperation with Bergen Group Rosenberg, a turnkey and modular transformer station*. This constitutes the interface between the windfarm and the land, and is therefore an important cornerstone for the overall electricity system. Goodtech also provides services and investigations in connection with the optimisation of windfarms. For this we have developed a method called WES - Wind Energy Simulator*.
