Prototype development

Goodtech constructs and produces functional prototypes, visual models, models for metal casting and lost wax, final products and spare parts. We also perform measurement and scanning of prototypes, specimens, moulds, deformations and complex geometries.

Goodtech supplies CAD services, prototypes and measurement services to inventors, workshops and production companies in a range of different industries.

Our CAD services include material and tool construction for forging, castings, aluminium, plastic and rubber, as well as durability calculations and FEM analysis. Tools that are used include AutoCad, Catia, Ideas, ProEngineer, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Acis, Iges, Parasolid, Step, STL, VDA, Inventor, Medusa, Pro/E, Ideas, Ansys and Cosmos.

Prototypes are produced with the aid of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS). The standard material for prototypes is polyamide plastic, but we can also offer other materials such as PA 12, Polyamide PA 3200GF and Primecast 100. Our EOSINT P380 has an effective working volume of 330 x 330 x 620 mm and an accuracy of ± 0.15 mm.

Measurement and scanning of advanced 3D geometries is performed quickly and precisely with Global Image 9158.  The measurement area is 900 x 1500 x 800 mm, accuracy is 1.9 µm+L/333 and speed is 866 mm/s.
