The Process Data Portal (PDP) was developed by Hydro in 2004 and is the result of the preparation of best practice by Manufacturing Execution Systems, MES. In 2010 the solution was installed at 18 of Statoil’s facilities.
The PDP facilitates the collection of high-frequency process data and makes them available to the end user in both real time and historical time. The process data are available to the end user both on land and at the facility. The PDP is a standardised solution independent of which control system supplier you have chosen.
It provides a number of standard tools and applications to guarantee optimal production. The PDP provides an overview of production, process, etc. Applications for the PDP are developed using the Aspentech tool standards, with products available from a third-party supplier.
In project deliveries Goodtech is involved throughout the whole value chain, from preliminary study via customer description, design and implementation, delivery of server, project management/coordination of third-party supplier for training, operation and maintenance.
