The packaging machine has a large paper magazine that means it has to be refilled less frequently. A stable box with a standardised base for different packaging sizes keeps the number of machine changeovers to a minimum.
The bag-in-box packaging is cheap to purchase and can be stored directly on pallets. Several empty packages per freight unit saves both warehouse space and transport costs; a box of 600 bags corresponds to three pallets of cans.
