Pretre AS - Norway

Goodtech has developed and delivered a production system for roof trusses to Pretre AS in Gausdal, which has become the world’s most advanced and efficient roof truss factory. The delivery included a complete Lecab cutting line, conveyors and robotised stacking and packaging of completed roof trusses.

The factory annually produces 126,000 roof trusses in two shifts. This is four times as many as traditional suppliers can produce with the same staffing.

The production line consists of a conveyor that leads the timber into a saw, which then feeds and cuts roof trusses in accordance with order specifications.

Cut timber is transported on pallets to the assembly line and storage. Stacking and packaging is conducted by robots.
