Goodtech's primary assignment consisted of installation of instrument circuitry and cabling to deliveries from Andritz and Metso. A total of nearly 10,000 working hours were performed within the framework of the project. Eighty percent of the hours were carried out in two months, when we had an average of 26 electricians on the job.
During the course of the project, Goodtech delivered 24 field boxes of varying sizes with associated air feeds and filter stations. The air feeds were executed with varying 12 mm and 18 mm pipes, depending on the consumption of the connected valves. One of these boxes was equipped with remote I/O.
The installation is primarily a traditional system with multiple conductors to IKL boxes with field cabling from these. All power supply lines to the instrumentation were run directly from power distribution cabinets.
We even installed and connected all the field equipment. Also included was running of impulse pipes, connection of hoses to valves (2 x 6 mm alternatively 2 x 8 mm) and 18 mm pipes to DN800 butterfly valves, installation of Kajaani pulp samplers (16 units) and installation of radioactive level gauges.
