Klementsrud

The Municipality of Oslo's new incineration plant at Klemetsrud was put in service in the spring of 2011. The plant is a part of the municipality's energy program, EGE 2010. Goodtech has provided the project with complete control and regulation systems, electrical systems and installation.

The EGE 2010 project encompasses a new incineration line at Klemetsrud, sorting installations at Haraldrud and Klemetsrud, a biogas plant and all new construction at these facilities.

The new incineration furnace at Klemetsrud will have an annual capacity of 160,000 tons of waste and will generate more than 55 MW of power and district heating. This corresponds to consumption for about 59,000 people in Oslo.

Goodtech's contribution to the project encompasses complete services in engineering and design, development of standardised solutions, procurement, screen production, follow-up, programming, test running, installation, training and commissioning.

Through the delivery to the incineration plant, Goodtech received responsibility for building up a standard for control systems used throughout the EGE 2010 project. The standardisation will simplify future operation and maintenance.

Besides the delivery to the incineration plant, Goodtech has provided control systems for cranes, the cooling plant, building and ventilation systems and upgrading of turbine lines.

Goodtech's delivery:

- 11 kV electrical board with synchronisation to the grid
- Transformers
- 690 V/400 V electrical boards
- 690 V/400 V substations
- Frequency converters
- Control and monitoring systems
