Händelö

The Händelö Kraftvärmeverk plant in Norrköping is one of Sweden's largest combined power and heating plants, and has produced electricity and heat since the 1980s. The Händelöverket plant supplies E.ON's customer in and around Norrköping with environmentally friendly district heating through an interconnected grid totalling 350 kilometres.

During a good part of 2010, a new boiler was built at the plant by Foster Wheeler OY and Foster Wheeler AB.

Goodtech assisted in construction of the new boiler with electrical and process installations, including power supply equipment such as transformers, substations, trunking and lighting, as well as instrument installation including licensed welding of impulse pipes.

Goodtech has a long tradition of building boilers and increasing numbers of suppliers have become aware of our complete portfolio in boiler construction. We'd like to share what our client had to say on looking back on our work:

"Everything from design to management and installation has been perfect. Work has been carried out with excellent quality and above all, I'd like to emphasize the flexibility of the personnel and their capacity to adapt to the needs of the plant."

EON and Foster Wheeler project management, Hans Claesson/Roger Jansson and Kari Arhippainen
